Ad/Cessna 208/3 - Fuel Reservoir Tank and Flapper Valve - Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 208/3.

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 25 September 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, raised in 1988 against Cessna Service Bulletin (SB) No. CAB 87-13, required a modification to the fuel tank reservoir flapper check valves and access cover to prevent the flapper check valve contacting surrounding hardware and lines.

Compliance was prior to the issue of the next maintenance release after 28 February 1988.  As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is no longer required.
