Ad/Cessna 207/8 - Right Hand Wing Rear Spar - Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 207/8.

AD/CESSNA 207/8 Right Hand Wing Rear Spar 10/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 25 September 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, raised in 1973 against Cessna Service Letter (SL) No. SE73-19, required a one-time inspection to ensure that right hand rear wing spar had not been damage during initial installation of the aileron bellcrank.

Compliance was within 100 hours TIS after 31 October 1973.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected by now, this AD is considered to be no longer required.
