AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 207/3.

Cessna 207 Series Aeroplanes

AD/CESSNA 207/3 Auxiliary Fuel Pump Electrical System 10/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 25 September 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, issued in 1970 against Cessna Service Letter (SL) No. SE70-25, required a modification if difficulty was experienced in accomplishing engine starts on the ground because of the inability to purge fuel vapour following possible installation of additional resistors in the "Hi" boost circuit of the auxiliary fuel pump required by Cessna Service Letter (SL) No. SE69-9.

Compliance was within 100 hours TIS after 31 December 1970.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is considered to be no longer required.
