AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 206/45.

Cessna 206 Series Aeroplanes

AD/CESSNA 206/45 Passenger Seat Belt Fitting Spacer 10/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 25 September 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, raised in 1986 against Cessna Single Engine Service Bulletin (SB) No. SEB86-4, required installation of a spacer in the seat belt attachment fitting for the No.3 and No.4 seats to increase seat belt fitting attachment strength.

Compliance was prior to the issue of the next maintenance release after
30 September 1986.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is no longer required.

Delegate of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority
