AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 206/37.

Cessna 206 Series Aeroplanes

AD/CESSNA 206/37 Isolator Mounts P/N 700-2500-1 10/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 25 September 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, raised in 1985 against Soloy Conversions Service Bulletin (SB) No. 01-763, required an inspection for tears, cracks and delamination of the rubber material around isolator mounts.  Replacement of isolator mounts was to be accomplished at overhaul.

Compliance was within 100 hours TIS, or next schedule inspection for maintenance release issue, after 25 February 1985 whichever is the later, and thereafter at intervals of 100 hours TIS until replaced in accordance with the requirement document.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected and mounts replaced by now, and the inspection requirement is adequately addressed by standard maintenance criteria, this AD is no longer required.
