AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 206/34.

Cessna 206 Series Aeroplanes

AD/CESSNA 206/34 Wing Tip Navigation Strobe Lights 11/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 23 October 2008.

Background:

This Australian unique AD, issued in 1981, required a one off inspection and modification of the wing tip navigational/strobe lights installed on Flint Aero wing tip tanks to prevent possible fuel leakage in areas of high voltage or high temperature.  The AD compliance was before 100 hours time in service after 31 July 1981.  As all aircraft would have now been inspected and modified by now, the AD is no longer required.
