AD/Cessna 206/23 Fuel Reservoir Fitting Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 206/23.

AD/CESSNA 206/23 Fuel Reservoir Fitting 11/2008

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 23 October 2008.
Background:	This unique Australian AD, issued in 1978, required a one off inspection of the fuel reservoir fitting in accordance with of Cessna SL SE77-38 to ensure the proper inside diameter of the upper (cone) fitting is maintained.  Fittings that are too small may allow vapour build up in the fuel system.  The AD compliance was before 100 hours time in service after 31 May 1978.  As all aircraft would have complied with the inspection by now, the AD is no longer required.
