AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 205/2.

Cessna 205 (210-5) Series Aeroplanes

AD/CESSNA 205/2 Aft Seat Belt Attachment 10/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 25 September 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, raised in 1963 against Cessna Service Letter (SL) No. SL62-82, required a modification to strengthen the attachment point of the aft seat belts.  Compliance was required within 100 hours TIS after 28 February 1979.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is no longer required.

Delegate of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority
