AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 188/33.

Cessna 188 (Agwagon) Series Aeroplanes

AD/CESSNA 188/33 Wing Front Spar, Boom Attach Holes 9/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 28 August 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, issued in 1980, required inspection of the boom attach holes on the front spar in accordance with Cessna Service Letter SE 80-18 and, if any holes are found out of tolerance, a repair consisting of a doubler must be installed.  The AD compliance was 100 hours time in service after 30 April 1980.  As all affected aircraft would have been inspected and repaired by now, this AD is no longer required.
