AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 188/28.

Cessna 188 (Agwagon) Series Aeroplanes

AD/CESSNA 188/28 Throttle/Mixture Control
Cable Attachment
8/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 31 July 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, issued in 1976, required replacement of safety wires with metal retainers to secure the throttle and mixture control cables in accordance with Cessna Service Letter SE 74-20.  The AD compliance was within 100 hours time in service after 30 September 1976.  As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, the AD is no longer required.
