AD/Cessna 188/18 Main Landing Gear Leg Attachment Bolts Cancelled (Cth)
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 188/18.
Cessna 188 (Agwagon) Series Aeroplanes
| AD/CESSNA 188/18 | Main Landing Gear Leg Attachment Bolts | 9/2008 |
Requirement: | CANCELLED. |
| This AD is cancelled on 28 August 2008. | |
Background: | This unique Australian AD, issued in 1972, required inspection of the inboard main landing gear to fuselage attachment bolts to ensure they are NAS 152-88 type and torqued to the correct value. The AD compliance was within 100 hours time in service after 30 November 1972 and thereafter at intervals not exceeding 100 hours. As all NAS 152-88 bolts should be correctly torqued during installation of the main landing gear leg, this AD is no longer required. |
