AD/Cessna 185/5 Inertia Reel Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 185/5.

AD/CESSNA 185/5 Inertia Reel 7/2008

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 3 July 2008.
Background:	This unique Australian AD, issued in 1963, required modification of the pilot’s safety harness by attaching the shoulder straps to the aircraft structure through an inertia reel.  This AD is covered by AD/GENERAL/74 Amendment 1 and therefore is no longer required.
