AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 185/10.

Cessna 185 Series Aeroplanes

AD/CESSNA 185/10 Tail Wheel Steering Bellcrank 7/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 3 July 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, issued in 1965, required a repeat inspection every 100 hours of the tail wheel steering bellcranks for all models in the agricultural category.  A search of the Significant Defect Reporting data base revealed no defects have been reported since 1980 and as the requirements of this AD would normally be carried out during maintenance, this AD is no longer required.
