AD/Cessna 180/53 Steering Bungee Boot Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 180/53.

AD/CESSNA 180/53 Steering Bungee Boot 7/2008

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 3 July 2008.
Background:	This unique Australian AD, issued in 1978, required inspection of the steering bungee boot clamp to ensure proper installation in accordance with Cessna Service Letter SE 78-37.  The AD required compliance within 100 hours time in service after 30 September 1978.  As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, this AD is no longer required.
