Ad/Cessna 180/4 Amdt 1 - Engine Mount - Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 180/4 Amdt 1.

AD/CESSNA 180/4 Amdt 1 Engine Mount 10/2008

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 25 September 2008.
Background:	This unique Australian AD, issued in 1980, required a visual inspection of the engine mounts in the vicinity of the weld joints.  This inspection requirement is adequately covered in Schedule 5 and the manufacturer’s maintenance manual and therefore the AD is no longer required.
