AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 180/35.

Cessna 180, 182 and Wren 460 Series Aeroplanes

AD/CESSNA 180/35 Rear Seat Attachment 7/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 3 July 2008.

Background:

This airworthiness directive (AD), issued in 1973, required inspection of the rear seat attachment bolt holes in accordance with Cessna Service Letter SE 73-4 to ensure the bolt holes were not oversize.  The compliance of the AD was within 100 hours time in service after 31 May 1973.  As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
