AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 180/33.

Cessna 180, 182 and Wren 460 Series Aeroplanes

AD/CESSNA 180/33 Fuel Line to Elevator Control
Cable Clearance
6/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 5 June 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian airworthiness directive (AD), issued in 1972, required inspection of the fuel lines and the elevator control cables to ensure adequate clearance in accordance with Cessna Service Letter SE 71-44.  The compliance of the AD was forthwith.  As all aircraft would have been inspected by now, the unsafe condition no longer exists.
