AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 180/16.

AD/CESSNA 180/16 Safety Harness Inertia Reel 7/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 3 July 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian airworthiness directive (AD), issued in 1962, required the modification of the of the pilot’s safety harness by attaching shoulder straps through an inertia reel.  These requirements are now covered under AD/GENERAL/74 Amendment 1 and, this AD is therefore no longer required.
