AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 170/51.

Background: | This is a unique Australian AD issued in 1985. This required installation of a reinforcement angle that was inadvertently omitted from the console fuel selector bracket, and to ensure the fuel selector shaft roll pin was properly secured. As all aircraft would have complied with the AD, the unsafe condition no longer exists. |
