AD/Cessna 170/42 Oil Pressure Line Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 170/42.

Cessna 170, 172, F172, FR172 and 175 Series Aeroplanes

AD/CESSNA 170/42 Oil Pressure Line 3/2008

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 13 March 2008.
Background:	This is a unique Australian AD issued in 1981 applicable to certain serial number Cessna 172 and F172 aircraft.  This AD required a once off inspection of the oil pressure line attachment to ensure engagement of at least three threads on the attaching nut.  As all applicable aircraft would have now been inspected, the unsafe condition no longer exists.
