AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 150/22 Amdt 2.

Cessna 150, F150, 152 & F152 Series Aeroplanes

AD/CESSNA 150/22 Amdt 2 Alternator Field Circuit Breaker 8/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 31 July 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, issued in 1978, required modification by replacement of the alternator field automatic reset type circuit breaker with a manual reset type circuit breaker or fuse.  The AD compliance was before the issue of a Certificate of Airworthiness.  As all aircraft would have been modified and the requirements of this AD no longer align with automatic acceptance of certificated aircraft, the AD is no longer required.
