AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 150/18 Amdt 1.

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 31 July 2008.
Background:	This unique Australian AD, issued in 1972, required a repeat inspection of the aileron mass balance weight attachment rivets for corrosion.  The AD compliance was every 100 hours time in service after 29 September 1972.  The Significant Defect Reporting data base revealed no defects have been reported on this aircraft model since 1980.  As this type of inspection would be carried out during normal maintenance, this AD is no longer required.
