AD/Ceres/7 Amdt 1 Turnover Truss Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CERES/7 Amdt 1.

AD/CERES/7 Amdt 1 Turnover Truss - Modification 4/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 9 April 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD was first raised in 1980 to require modification of the Turnover Truss following an accident where the truss collapsed.  Compliance was required no later than 21 January 1980.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
