AD/Ceres/5 Amdt 1 Pilots Safety Harness Inertia Reel Installation Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CERES/5 Amdt 1.

AD/CERES/5 Amdt 1 Pilots Safety Harness Inertia Reel - Installation 4/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 9 April 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD was first raised in 1968 to require modification to pilots shoulder harnesses.  Compliance was required before 1 July 1968.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
