AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CERES/4 Amdt 1.

C.A.C. CA-28 (Ceres) Series Aeroplanes

AD/CERES/4 Amdt 1 Mixture Control
Lever Quadrant - Modification
4/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 9 April 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD was first raised in1964 requiring a modification to the mixture control lever quadrant of all models of CA-28 (Ceres) aeroplanes by marking the mixture control lever quadrant to indicate the minimum lean position "LEAN" and the rearmost position "CUT-OFF" as movement of the mixture lever past the minimum lean position could result in the engine cutting suddenly without warning.

Compliance was: Forthwith.

This AD has been sufficiently promulgated for the affected aircraft to have been modified by now; therefore this AD is no longer required.
