AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CERES/2 Amdt 1.

C.A.C. CA-28 (Ceres) Series Aeroplanes

AD/CERES/2 Amdt 1 Propeller Counterweights - Modification 4/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 9 April 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD was first raised in1962 against Ceres Service Bulletin (SB) No. 33 requiring a modification to all models of CA-28 (Ceres) aeroplanes fitted with high solidity propellers to prevent possible loss of the propeller counterweight cap weights due to failure of retaining screws through over tightening or fatigue.

Compliance was: Before propeller installation.

This AD has been sufficiently promulgated for the affected aircraft to have been modified by now; therefore this AD is no longer required.
