AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CERES/1 Amdt 1.

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 9 April 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD was first raised in1962 against Ceres Service Bulletin (SB) No. 29.  It required a modification to the outboard mass balance weight attachments following an instance of failure of the counterweight cap screws.  Compliance was required forthwith.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
