AD/BR700/1 High Pressure Turbine Discs Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BR700/1.

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 5 July 2007.

Background:

A manufacturing process change resulted in a condition that resulted in a decreased cyclic life than the life specified in the BR715 Time limits Manual for certain Stage 1 and Stage 2 HPT discs.

The manufacturer has advised that all of the subject discs detailed in the original issue of this AD have been removed from service.  Therefore the actions detailed in this AD are no longer required.
