Ad/Bo 105/12 - Rotating Control Rod End Bearings - Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BO 105/12.

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 24 September 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in 1988 against MBB Alert Service Bulletin ASB-BO 105-10-103, required an inspection for smooth operation, absence of cracks and a torque check of rotating control rod, P/No. 105-13121 or 1121-13126, spherical bearings.

As helicopter maintenance schedules adequately address periodic inspections of flight controls, this AD is no longer required.
