AD/BN-2/37 Passenger Seats - Inspection and Modification 13/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 18 December 2008.

Background:

This AD, raised prior to1977 against Jet Seats Service Bulletin (SB) No. 75/1, required an inspection and modification of passenger seat back supports due to instances of damage to hinge pivots and stops caused by overloads.  Seats modified to the SB should have serial plate marked JSB 75/1.

Compliance was required within 100 hours TIS after 30 September 1976 and thereafter at intervals not exceeding 100 hours TIS until modified.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected and modified by now, this AD is no longer required.
