AD/BN-2/2 Fuel Tank Sump Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BN-2/2.

AD/BN-2/2 Fuel Tank Sump - Modification 13/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 18 December 2008.

Background:

This AD was raised prior to 1969 against Britten-Norman Modification No. NB/M/350 requiring a modification to the fuel tank sumps to meet the Australian certification requirements in place at that time.  Those requirements, contained in Civil Aviation Orders (COA’s) have since been repealed.

Compliance was before 16 May 1968.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is considered to be no longer required.
