AD/Bell 47/96 Bogus Main Rotor Grip P/N 47-120-252-11 Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BELL 47/96.

AD/BELL 47/96 Bogus Main Rotor Grip P/N 47-120-252-11 2/2009

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 12 February 2009.
Background:	This unique Australian AD, issued in 1989, required a one-off inspection of the main rotor grips in accordance with Bell Alert Service Bulletin 47-89-15 Revision A, to ensure the grips were approved parts.  The AD compliance was prior to 1 November 1989.  As all aircraft would have been inspected by now and the requirements of approved parts are covered by CAR 42W and CASR 21.303, the AD is no longer required.
