AD/BELL 47/91 Tail Rotor Blade Assembly
P/N 47-642-117-1 - Replacement
2/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 12 February 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, issued in 1985, required the replacement of tail rotor blades in accordance with Bell Alert Service Bulletin 47-84-11.  This AD was issued because a number of tail rotor blades S/N A-8 to 72 may have been manufactured with bonding voids in the root area.  The AD compliance was within 100 hours time in service after 31 January 1985 or at the next scheduled inspection for maintenance release.  As all affected blades would have been removed from service, the AD is no longer required.
