AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BELL 47/34.

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 12 February 2009.
Background:	This unique Australian AD, issued in 1963, required modification or replacement of the fuel quantity gauge tank unit to prevent the possibility of sparking of the internal connecting lead.  The AD compliance was forthwith.  As all aircraft would have been modified by now, the AD is no longer required.
