AD/Bell 412/8 Installation of Main Rotor Droop Restraint Kit and Cyclic Stick Centring Indicator Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BELL 412/8.

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 18 December 2008.
Background:	This unique Australian AD, issued in 1983, required installation of a main rotor droop restraint kit and cyclic stick centring indicator in accordance with Bell Alert SB 412-83-11.  These modifications are designed to prevent excessive main rotor yoke loads while the aircraft is parked, and during ground operation.  The AD compliance was within by 1 September 1983.  As all aircraft would have been modified by now, the AD is no longer required.
