Bell Helicopter Textron 412 Series Helicopters

AD/BELL 412/6 Main Rotor Pitch Link
Assemblies - Replacement
13/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 18 December 2008.

Background:

This  unique Australian AD, issued in 1983, required inspection and replacement of the pitch link tube and upper rod end bearing assembly in accordance with Bell Alert SB 412-82-2, Revision “A” and. Bell Alert SB 412-82-7.  This was due to incorrect assembly of the pitch link at manufacture.  The AD compliance was within 100 hours time in service after 31 March 1983.  As all aircraft would have replaced the components by now, the AD is no longer required.
