AD/Bell 412/5 Amdt 1 Engine Fuel Switch Inspection/Replacement Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BELL 412/5 Amdt 1.

AD/BELL 412/5 Amdt 1 Engine Fuel Switch - Inspection/Replacement 13/2008

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 18 December 2008.
Background:	This unique Australian AD, issued in 1983, required replacement of the engine fuel valve switch in accordance with Bell Technical Bulletin 412-82-10 Revision A as a result of a number of leaf spring failures.  The AD compliance was with 25 hours time in service after 11 December 1982.  As all aircraft would have installed the fuel valve switch by now, the AD is no longer required.
