Bell Helicopter Textron 412 Series Helicopters

AD/BELL 412/23 Electrical Wiring Harnesses 2/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 12 February 2009.

Background:

This  unique Australian AD, issued in 1989, required modification in accordance with Bell Alert SB 412-89-43 to control adverse wire chafing in six known problem areas of the electrical wiring harness.  The AD was issued after Bell advised of reports of electrical arcing.  The AD compliance was prior to 31 December 1989.  As all aircraft would have been modified by now, the AD is no longer required.
