AD/Bell 412/17 Am-Safe Harness Buckle Assemblies Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BELL 412/17.

AD/BELL 412/17 AM-SAFE Harness Buckle Assemblies 2/2009

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 12 February 2009.
Background:	This AD, issued in 1987, required inspection of passenger seat restraints and replacement of the connector in accordance with Bell Alert SB 412-87-28.  The AD was issued due to the possibility that under some conditions, the connector may become dislodged from the seat belt buckle if a side load is placed on the assembly.  The AD compliance was within 100 hours time in service after 9 April 1987.  As all aircraft should have been inspected by now, the AD is no longer required.
