Bell Helicopter Textron 412 Series Helicopters

AD/BELL 412/10 Upper Anti-Collision Strobe Light P/No HR, DF-28DRMS Inspection, Modification and Replacement 13/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 18 December 2008.

Background:

This  unique Australian AD, issued in 1983, required replacement of the upper anti-collision strobe light in  accordance with Bell Alert SB 412-83-14 due to reports of separation of the cup shaped portion of the light assembly resulting in power  supply components contacting the main drive shaft.  The AD compliance for replacement of the anti-collision strobe light was before 1 March 1983.  As all aircraft would have been modified by now, the AD is no longer required.
