AD/Bell 206/81 Auxiliary Fin Inspection Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BELL 206/81.

AD/BELL 206/81 Auxiliary Fin - Inspection 8/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 30 July 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in 1980 against Bell Helicopter Textron Technical Bulletin No. 206L-79-34 Part I, required an inspection and modification to certain auxiliary fins to prevent possible cracking occurring at inboard skin between the attachment inserts.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
