AD/Bell 206/70 Amdt 2 Hydraulic Servo Actuator Support Assembly Inspection Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BELL 206/70 Amdt 2.

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 23 October 2008.
Background:	This unique Australian AD, issued in 1976, required a repeat inspection in accordance with Bell Alert Service Bulletin 206-76-1 to detect cracking in the hydraulic servo actuator support assembly.  The repeat inspection was required until modification was carried out in accordance with Bell Alert Service Bulletin 206-76-8.  The AD compliance required modification before 31 December 1976.  As all aircraft would have been modified by now, the AD is no longer required.
