AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes  Airworthiness Directive AD/BELL 206/6 Amdt 35.

AD/BELL 206/6 Amdt 35 Retirement Life - Fatigue Critical Components 4/2005

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 14 April 2005.

Background:

This AD is no longer required because compliance with the latest revision of the Bell 206 approved Airworthiness Limitations Schedule (Chapter 4) is mandatory under CAO 100.5 Paragraph 9.1 (Replacement of time-lifed components).  Aspects related to Note 4 in the AD, which relates to adjustment of fatigue lives based on operational usage patterns, will be covered by separate advisory material to be released shortly.
