AD/BELL 206/59 Oil Pressure Tube Assemblies - Inspection and Replacement 11/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 23 October 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, issued in 1974, required an initial inspection and later replacement of oil pressure tube assemblies in accordance with Bell Alert Service Bulletins 206-08-74-1 as a result of reports of corrosion.  The AD compliance was to inspect the oil tube assemblies within 10 hours time in service after 20 May 1974 and replace each assembly within 100 hours time in service after 28 June 1974.  As all aircraft would have the oil tube assemblies replaced by now, the AD is no longer required.
