AD/Bell 206/56 Amdt 1 Starter Generator Retaining Clamp T Bolt Inspection Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BELL 206/56 Amdt 1.

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 23 October 2008.
Background:	This unique Australian AD, issued in 1973, required inspection and replacement of the starter generator retaining clamp “T bolt” in accordance with Bell Alert Service Bulletin 206-03-73-1.  The AD compliance was within 10 hours time in service and daily inspection until the T bolt is replaced.  As all aircraft would have replaced the “T bolt” by now, the AD is no longer required.
