AD/Bell 206/55 Pylon Support Link P/N 206-031-508-5 and -7 Replacement Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BELL 206/55.

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 23 October 2008.
Background:	This unique Australian AD, issued in 1973, required replacement of aluminium pylon support links with stainless steel support links in accordance with Bell Alert Service Bulletin 206-01-73-6.  The AD compliance was within 5 hours time in service after 5 October 1973.  As all aircraft would have replaced the pylon support links by now, the AD is no longer required.
