| AD/BELL 206/45 | Tail Rotor Drive Shaft Cover and Lower Skin of Horizontal Stabilizer - Modification | 11/2008 |
Requirement: | CANCELLED. |
| This AD is cancelled on 23 October 2008. | |
Background: | This unique Australian AD, issued in 1973, required removal of metal plugs from the tail rotor drive shaft cover and lower skin horizontal stabilizer in accordance with Bell Alert Service Bulletin 206-01-73-3 to prevent impingement and subsequent damage to tail rotor blades. The AD compliance was within 5 days after 1 May 1973. As all aircraft would have been modified by now, the AD is no longer required. |
