| AD/BELL 206/40 | Tail Rotor Control Tube Tunnel - Modification | 11/2008 |
Requirement: | CANCELLED. |
| This AD is cancelled on 23 October 2008. | |
Background: | This unique Australian AD, issued in 1973, required modification of the tail rotor control tube tunnel in accordance with Bell Service Letter 206-202 to eliminate chafing of the anti-torque control tube from the AN520-10R8 screw that attaches the lower and upper access doors. The AD compliance was within 10 hours time in service from the 28 February 1973. As all aircraft would have been modified by now, the AD is no longer required. |
