AD/Bell 206/37 Anti Torque Control Idler Assembly P/N 206-001-746-5 Inspection and Rework Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BELL 206/37.

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 23 October 2008.
Background:	This unique Australian AD, issued in 1972, required a one off inspection and rework of the idler assembly pivot bearings in accordance with Bell Alert Service Bulletin 206-22.  The AD compliance required inspection within 25 hours time in service and rework within 100 hours time in service after 30 November 1972.  As all aircraft would have been inspected and modified by now, the AD is no longer required.
