AD/BELL 206/30 Main Transmission
Magnetic Plug - Inspection
11/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 23 October 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, issued in 1970, required a daily inspection of the magnetic plug in accordance with Bell Alert Service Bulletin 206A-17.  The AD was applicable to aircraft not fitted with a chip detector.  The AD compliance was after
1 December 1970.  As the mandatory airworthiness requirements in the Maintenance and Overhaul Manual requires all aircraft to be fitted with a chip detector, the AD is no longer required.
