AD/Bell 206/30 Main Transmission Magnetic Plug Inspection Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BELL 206/30.

Magnetic Plug - Inspection 11/2008

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 23 October 2008.
Background:	This unique Australian AD, issued in 1970, required a daily inspection of the magnetic plug in accordance with Bell Alert Service Bulletin 206A-17.  The AD was applicable to aircraft not fitted with a chip detector.  The AD compliance was after 1 December 1970.  As the mandatory airworthiness requirements in the Maintenance and Overhaul Manual requires all aircraft to be fitted with a chip detector, the AD is no longer required.
